Matt Helm

More screen caps from The Silencers.

Matt Helm

One of my favorite Spy film series was the Matt Helm films starring Dean Martin. They made 4 of them and a 5th was planned until Dean pulled the plug on it. Here's a few (ok 5, seems i can only post 5 pics to a post) of the first and best Matt Helm film, The Silencers. A wonderful tongue in cheek script and a great cast and i think Stella Stevens was the best Helm girl.

Bond

The next James Bond movie has been put on hold due to MGM studio being up for sale. No Bond film for 2010 maybe in 2011.

Michael G Wilson, who produces the Bond films with Barbara Broccoli, admitted: “We just don’t know enough about the situation to comment but we know it’s uncertain.”

The earliest a new film is likely to go into production is at the end of this year, for release in 2011, a full three years after the last Bond, Quantum Of Solace.

Pre-production work on the film, which will again star Daniel Craig.
